
Justin Doucette
Justin Doucette has served as the Chief Financial Officer of Kairoc Investments, LLC (“Kairoc”) since January 2019. He is responsible for the day-to-day accounting processes, cash management, and oversees the financial and tax reporting systems of multiple real estate and business ventures in various industries including Hospitality, Amateur Sports, Non-Profit, and Business Consulting, among others.
Prior to Kairoc, LLC, Doucette was Chief Financial Officer of Micatrotto Restaurant Group, LLC, a restaurant development company. From 2005 through 2018, he was responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of all aspects of accounting and finance for 34 restaurants in Nevada and Arizona with more than 1,400 employees and more than $140 Million in revenues. In 2018, he was part of the team of executives that negotiated and effectuated the sale of the business to its franchisor. Doucette obtained his Certified Public Accountant designation in 1994, after achieving the third highest score in Nevada on the Uniform CPA Exam. He has more than thirty years of accounting, tax and auditing experience, and completed his audit and experience requirements with the CPA firm of Deloitte & Touche, LLP. While with Deloitte & Touche, LLP, he performed audit and accounting services for a variety of public and privately held clients, with specialization in internal control systems and in the hospitality industry.
A resident of Las Vegas for more than forty years, Doucette is a graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and currently holds a Master’s Degree in Hotel Administration (Summa Cum Laude, 2000) and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration (Cum Laude, 1992).
Doucette holds accreditations through various institutions. He is a member of the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants (NSCPA) as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He has been honored by In Business Las Vegas Magazine as one of the “Top 40 Businesspeople Under 40” as well as In Business Las Vegas Magazine’s “Who’s Who In Business”. Early in his career, he was invited by the United States Secretary of the Treasury to be the Nevada representative of a national taxpayer advocacy panel.
Doucette has written numerous articles for such publications as Nevada Hospitality, Washington Weekly, and Hospitality Research Finance Monitor and has been quoted in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Nation’s Restaurant News, the Reno Gazette, the Las Vegas Business Press, and the Las Vegas Sun, and has appeared on televised news segments for Channel 8 (CBS), Cable 1 and Cable 39.
